Parking at Larmenier
When parking at Larmenier, please ensure you ONLY use the Larmenier car park (see photo). All other areas on the property are NOT available for parking. Yes, we have limited spaces available; however, we are more fortunate than most other schools, in that we have a car park in the first place.
Other options are to park out on the street or use the drive through lane where we have the Drop Off / Pick Up lane.

Wanted - Uniform donations
Do you have any second hand school uniform items that you no longer want or need?
If so, we would love to have them donated for spare uniforms for our students for when accidents arise.
School hats
School hats must be worn from Term 3 Week 9 (15th September onwards).
Hats can be purchased from Midfords on Charles Street, Launceston.
Practice lockdown
In the coming weeks, we will conduct an unannounced emergency drill to assess our response to a potential situation where staff may identify a threat that would require the school to go into lockdown, as opposed to evacuating.
Just like fire drills, we understand the importance of practising this process to ensure readiness in case of an emergency.
We are taking steps to ensure that this drill will be as minimally disruptive as possible for both staff and students.

R U OK? Day - Wear Yellow
R U OK? is a charity with a mission to get everyone having more conversations to check in with each other to see how they’re doing. It’s about what we can all do to help our friends, classmates and family to get through tough times.
R U OK? Day’s National Day of Action is on Thursday 11th September. We will be raising awareness on this day and be learning about the importance of asking R U OK? Any Day of the Year, because a conversation could change a life.
Students are encouraged to wear yellow (clothing/accessories) on Thursday 11th September. This is a PE lesson day so students need to wear their sports shoes and clothing suitable for physical activity.

They will be in store and available to purchase on the first Saturday of the school holidays at the end of this term (27th September).

Office Hours
Larmenier Catholic School office hours are Monday - Friday from 8 am - 3:30 pm in term time.
WWVP Reminder
WWVP
All people wishing to volunteer at school, including Farm Days, MUST have their WWVP (or alternatively known as RWVP) - this includes parents and grandparents! There is no cost for a volunteer application and you never know when you might want to put your hand up to volunteer at school so why not put in an application now so that you are ready to go when the occasion presents itself!
A reminder that when arriving at the office for Farm Days etc, you are required to present your WWVP card.
