R.E News - Did you know....
This weekend is the Feast of the Ascension, followed by the Feast of Pentecost the following weekend. Here is an explanation from the Hallow app:
Based on the Acts of the Apostles, the Church holds that Jesus ascended into heaven 40 days after His resurrection on Easter Sunday...
The Ascension and Pentecost are not the same, though they are connected. It was 10 days after Jesus’ Ascension into Heaven that the Holy Spirit was able to descend upon His disciples. Pentecost signals the end of the Easter season and is also the day we recognize as the birth of the Church.

Larmenier Cross Country
The cross country will be held here at Larmenier on Tuesday 28th May, starting at 1.15. A letter was sent home to parents with information and also asking for parent helpers. If you are able to help please return the form, or email our PE teacher, Joel King, at joel.king@catholic.tas.edu.au.
We will also have a coffee van onsite.
