Lunch Order Update

St Patrick's College has advised that due to building works commencing shortly and continuing into 2025, they will NOT be able to provide lunch orders in early 2025. Once building works have progress, they will be able to provide us with a date in which lunch orders will recommence.

St Patrick's College has asked us to pass on their apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but they will do everything possible to get primary school lunches back up and running as soon as achievable.

LAST LUNCH ORDER DATE FOR 2024:

Wednesday 4th December - After this date, lunch orders WILL NOT be available until further notice.

Sacrament of First Holy Communion

Grandparent's Day - Picnic Hangout

Grandparents are invited to a Picnic Hangout on Monday 28th October, 10.30 - 11.30 am to celebrate National Grandparent's Day. Students are asked to bring a plate of food to share with their grandparents.

Grandparents visit the classrooms 10.30 - 10.50am and then head outside, if the weather is fine, to have a picnic with their grandchildren and 'hang out' with them. Students are encouraged to show their grandparents around the school and even take them on some of the play equipment.

If children do not have grandparents attending then they will be welcome to join in with others.

We will have tea and coffee available for grandparents from the canteen.

Colour Fun Run - Have You Signed Up?

Larmenier P & F  are holding a Colour Fun Run! Students were informed about it last week at assembly and details were sent home in a letter (a copy of the letter is also attached below). In a nutshell, students sign up to participate and can then choose to fundraise - the more they fundraise the more prizes they get. As part of the festivities in the build-up to the event, as we reach fundraising milestones, a different staff member will be slimed! Ask your child which staff members have signed up to be slimed by students. The event on the night involves students running through an obstacle course and getting 'splashed' by colour powder! We will even have a parent one and a staff one!

Save the Date:  Friday 15th November, 6 pm.

Please note - All donations must be in good working condition (no missing pieces etc.)

You're invited to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Co-Education!

National Parent Survey

The CSPA 2024 Parent Survey on Student Wellbeing and Learning is seeking your perspective as parents/carers of children who attend a Catholic School in Australia.

You are invited to share your views on existing and emerging affirmations and/or challenges in relation to your child/children’s wellbeing and learning. Please consider completing this anonymous, confidential, and completely voluntary online survey.

More information about the study, how to participate, and how to have questions answered, can be found here.

Thank you for your interest.

FREE Children's Writing Competition

To celebrate the release of Hog-ator Showdown, the third book in my epic Super Sloth Series, I'm running a writing competition for Australian students.

Please send entries to aleesah@aleesahdarlison.com by 5pm 31 October.

Winners will be announced via email and on my Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/AleesahDarlisonFanPage.
