SCHOOL COLOUR FUN RUN UPDATE
Students, parents, family and friends have done an amazing job fundraising for the upcoming Colour Fun run. Our total has now reached
This means we are continuing to slime staff. Last week we slimed Mrs Madden and Mrs Mizzi. This week we slimed Mrs Cunningham and Mr Smith! Next week there will be two more staff slimed with another two slimed the week after! Students need to get to $10,000 if they want me to get slimed!
SCHOOL P.E UNIFORM UPDATE
Midfords will have some elements of the new P.E uniform available in the coming month. As previously communicated, all the items will not be available all at once. They will arrive into the shop as they are manufactured with some items (e.g. House polo) not being available until mid next year.
We realise that our P.E uniform will be a bit of a 'mish mash' during this transition period. We acknowledge that and accept it as part of playing the 'long game.'
There will be a two-year change over period where we move from our current P.E uniform to our new one. This period can be longer for anyone who needs it to be. During this time either the old or new version of the uniform can be worn.
Please find attached a copy of the updated uniform guide, which also can be found on our website.

Parent Link is an ongoing feature of the newsletter. It is an opportunity to identify areas or features of the school that you want to know more about, ask a question or put forward suggestions. These items can then be addressed and answered in the fortnightly newsletter in the ‘Tell Me More About’ section (as above).

Reminder - Late Arrival Procedure
A friendly reminder to all parents about the schools late arrival procedure.
If a student arrives late to school (after 8:50am) they MUST enter through the front office so they can be signed in by the office staff.
If they bypass the office and go directly to their classroom, they will already be marked as 'Not Present' and a text message will be sent to parents asking for an explanation for their absence.
It is a legal requirement as well as a health and safety requirement that we have students attendance record correct and we know exactly who is on school grounds at all times in case of an emergency.
Please contact the front office if you have questions or concerns: 03 6339 1910
Class Sharing - Year 3
Student in Year 3 have been working hard on a directed drawing of a water slide as an Art activity.
As you can see below, the student have done a fantastic job!
Class Sharing - Year 4
Grade 4 finalised their book study unit of Storm Boy. Students wrote a review on their thoughts about the book. The majority of the students enjoyed the book and could relate the life experiences that they witnessed in the novel. We also completed research on the Coorong and the importance of maintaining natural habitats for our wildlife.
Upcoming Event - Colour Run.
All students who want to participate in this fun event, even if they are not fundraising, need to register and create a profile.
Save The Date - Carols on the Oval

The library is looking to add more board games & card games to its break time collection. These games are utilized by students during recess, lunch and wet weather play.
If you have any board or card games that you would like to donate to the school, please bring them to the front office anytime!
