OUR HISTORY
At the request of Archbishop Guilford Young the Sisters of Nazareth opened Larmenier School in 1961. Named after Victoire Larmenier, founder of the Sisters of Nazareth, the School began with 35 pupils and two teaching sisters. We keep our early history alive through our core values which are based on the traditions of the Sisters of Nazareth: love, compassion, patience, justice, hospitality and respect. These values are highlighted daily throughout the School.
When the Sisters left the School in 2003 enrolment had grown to 220 students and a school staff of 16.
